The original package design for Natalie's third solo album, "Motherland" was intended to be a visual comment on the precarious state of our natural environment. The design was submitted to her record label just two weeks after the terrorist attacks in September of 2001. It was decided that the images were too disturbing at that moment to be printed. After six years in the archive, Natalie is revealing her original design here.
In September 2006 Natalie produced a three-day recording session for Give Us Your Poor, a benefit album and documentary film about homelessness in the United States. This video is an excerpt from the documentary.
