This is the first major label release by 10,000 Maniacs with Elektra/Asylum in 1985. The album was made in London with legendary producer Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, Nico, Fairport Convention, and founder of Hannibal Records). Originally it was released only on vinyl and cassette. When CD version appeared, it contain bonus tracks, The Colonial Wing and Daktari.
