Hello,

I wanted to mention that I've been meeting and rehearsing with Malcolm John Rebennack (aka Dr. John) this week in preparation for our December 3rd benefit at Bard College. It should be a very interesting show for both of us. We're planning to collaborate on 6-8 songs: a mixture of my material, his songs and some beloved Crescent City soul standards. It seems like Mac has a personal connection to every song or artist that I mention related to New Orleans. He also has many accounts to relate about family and friends trying to piece their lives back together in the ruins of the city and they are a heartbreaking reminder of why we came to be playing music together now.
